About...

The Ames Jazz Band is a 17-piece big band comprised of musicians from the NASA Ames Research Center community and the surrounding area. We play classic Jazz, blues and swing selections to enthusiastic audiences at clubs, dances and festivals in the Bay Area.

The Ames Jazz Combo is a 7-piece subset of the Ames Jazz Band, playing mostly straight-ahead jazz charts.
